The 6th Annual General Meeting of Sanima GIC has completed with the rights of resolution

Kathmandu ; The 6th Annual General Meeting of GIC Insurance Company has been completed in Amrit Bhog Kalikasthan was completed today in Kathmandu under the chairmanship of Kunal Kayal, President of the company. The General meeting has discussed and passed the annual report for the financial year 2079.080 presented by the chairman on behalf of the board of directors in the sixth annual general meeting of the company.

The balance sheet of the financial year 2079.080, including the company’s audit report, profit and loss account up to 31.03.2080, cash flow statement and related schedules have been discussed and passed.

The assembly has discussed and approved the audit report of the former General Insurance Company Nepal along with the balance sheet of the financial year 2079.080, the profit and loss account from July 2079 to 07.06, cash flow statement and related schedules.

The assembly has passed a resolution to appoint an external auditor for the financial year 2080.081 and determine his remuneration in accordance with section 111 of the Companies Act, 2063 and that the current auditor is legally eligible to be reappointed.

The meeting approves the appointment of independent directors nominated by the board of directors, makes necessary amendments to the articles of association and regulations to increase the company’s issued capital and defaulted capital, issues rights shares worth Rs.500 million equal to 25 percent of the company’s paid-up capital of Rs 2 billion. According to c) the resolution to approve the expenditure incurred in the financial year 2079.080 has been passed.
