United Ajod Insurance CEO Shrawan Rawal Passes Away at 61

Kathmandu, Shrawan Rawal, Chief Executive Officer of United Ajod Insurance Company has passed away last night at the age of 61 due to a sudden heart attack. Rawal, who had returned home after attending an international conference on inclusive insurance, fell ill unexpectedly and was rushed to a nearby Nagarik hospital Bhaktapur, where he was pronounced dead during treatment.

Rawal’s funeral is expected to take place tomorrow, according to the family sources. He had wife, son and daughter.

With a long and respected career in the insurance industry, Rawal was known for his expertise in marketing and operations. He had previously served as Deputy CEO at Sagarmatha Insurance Company before taking on the role of CEO at Prudential Insurance. Following the merger of Prudential, he resigned and was appointed CEO of United Ajod Insurance on June 6, 2023.

Rawal’s passing is a significant loss to the insurance sector, where he was regarded as a knowledgeable and experienced leader. His contributions to the industry over the years were widely recognized, and he leaves behind a legacy of professionalism and dedication.
