Six Nepali Insurance Agents to Represent Nation at MDRT Annual Meeting in Miami

Kathmandu – Six Nepali life insurance agents have achieved the esteemed Top of the Table (TOT) designation for 2025, a milestone awarded by the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) based on exceptional business performance in 2024. This recognition is a significant achievement for Nepal’s insurance industry, highlighting the agents’ dedication and expertise.

The agents—Namita Neupane (Sanima Reliance Life), Bimal Neupane and Shashikala Tamang (National Life), and Prabha Gyawali, Ram Bahadur Adhikari, and Purna Bahadur Khadka (LIC Nepal) met the rigorous target of Rs. 28.15 million in annual premium collection to qualify for TOT.

Namita Neupane, affiliated with Sanima Reliance Life’s Bhaktapur branch, made history as the first agent from the company to achieve TOT status for three consecutive years. Similarly, Shashikala Tamang and Bimal Neupane are the first TOT achievers in National Life Insurance’s four-decade history. Prabha Gyawali of LIC Nepal has maintained her TOT streak for three years, demonstrating exceptional consistency.

These agents will represent Nepal at the MDRT annual meeting in Miami, USA, in June 2025. Their achievements are an inspiration for over 200,000 insurance agents across the country, underscoring the growing influence of women in the insurance sector, with three female agents among this year’s TOT achievers.
