Sun Nepal Life Organizes National-Level AML/CFT Orientation for Insurance Agents

Kathmandu – Sun Nepal Life Insurance recently conducted a national-level orientation program on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) for its insurance agents and branch managers. The event, held on January 31 at Amritbhog Catering in Kathmandu, saw the participation of over 200 agents and managers from across the country.

During the program, Sun Nepal Life CEO Raj Kumar Aryal shared valuable insights on the growing competition in the insurance sector, current industry trends, and the importance of adhering to business ethics. He emphasized the need for insurance professionals to stay updated on policies aimed at preventing money laundering and financing of terrorism.

Aryal also briefed participants on new regulatory provisions and ethical business practices essential for ensuring compliance and maintaining trust in the industry. The orientation aimed to enhance awareness among insurance representatives, equipping them to navigate challenges while fostering responsible and ethical practices in the sector.
