Shikhar Insurance Calls AGM to Approve Dividend Proposal

Kathmandu – Shikhar Insurance Company has announced its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve the dividend proposal for the last fiscal year. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 25, at 11 AM, at the company’s head office, Shikhar Biz Center, Thapathali, Kathmandu.

The AGM will pass a special resolution to distribute a 10% bonus share of the current paid-up capital and a 0.5263% cash dividend for tax purposes. Additionally, the meeting will consider resolutions to authorize the operating committee to amend the company’s memorandum of association and regulations, change the address of the registered office, and appoint an auditor.

For the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution, the company has announced a book closure date of February 12. Shareholders who trade on NEPSE by February 11 will be eligible to participate in the meeting and claim the proposed dividend.
