Nepal Micro Insurance’s IPO Receives Nearly Rs 500 Million in Applications on First Day

Kathmandu – Nepal Micro Insurance’s initial public offering (IPO), which opened for public subscription on February 23, has already attracted applications worth approximately Rs 500 million on its first day.
According to CDS and Clearing, a total of 376,589 applicants have submitted requests for 4,945,840 shares. The company had earlier allocated 225,000 shares worth Rs 22.5 million to Nepali citizens working abroad.
In this IPO, investors are required to apply for a minimum of 10 shares, while the maximum limit has been set at 100,000 shares per applicant.
The public can apply for the IPO until February 27. However, if the entire quota remains unfilled within this period, the issuance deadline will be extended until March 9.
