IGI Prudential Insurance Holds 27th AGM, Approves 9.73% Cash Dividend

Kathmandu – IGI Prudential Insurance Limited successfully held its 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at Amrapali Banquet in Naxal, Kathmandu. The meeting addressed key financial decisions and operational matters.

The AGM approved the distribution of a 9.7368% cash dividend (including tax) based on the company’s current paid-up capital. The financial statements for the previous fiscal year were also reviewed and passed. Additionally, the appointment of the auditor for the current fiscal year and the determination of their remuneration were finalized.

Following directives from the regulatory body, the meeting passed proposals authorizing the board of directors to amend the company’s charter and regulations. It also approved expenses incurred under corporate social responsibility (CSR) and confirmed the appointment of independent directors.

IGI Prudential Insurance had closed its book on February 24 for the purpose of the meeting and dividend distribution. Shareholders on record as of February 23 will be eligible to receive the approved dividend.
