Non-Life Insurance Companies Earn Over Rs 28 Billion in Eight Months

Kathmandu – Non-life insurance companies operating in Nepal have earned over Rs 28 billion in insurance premiums in the first eight months of the current fiscal year. According to the financial statements released by the Nepal Insurance Authority on Sunday, 14 non-life insurance companies have collectively earned Rs 28.28 billion in premiums during this period.

Shikhar Insurance topped the list with a total premium income of Rs 4.10 billion. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance secured the second position, earning Rs 3.32 billion, while Siddhartha Premier Insurance ranked third with a total premium income of Rs 2.75 billion.

Similarly, IGI Prudential Insurance reported a business of Rs 2.37 billion, Himalayan Everest with Rs 2.21 billion, Neco Insurance with Rs 2.19 billion, and NLG Insurance Company reported a business of Rs 1.85 billion.
