Rastriya Jeevan Beema Company Announces Date for First General Meeting

Kathmandu – Rastriya Jeevan Beema Company Limited has announced the date for its first General Meeting. The meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Baisakh 3, 2082 (April 16, 2025), at 4:00 PM at the company’s head office located at Ramshah Path, Kathmandu. The decision was made during the 38th Board of Directors meeting held on Chaitra 10, 2081 (March 23, 2025).

Among the key issues to be discussed is the Chairman’s report, which will be presented on behalf of the Board of Directors. The report will cover the company’s progress and strategic direction. Additionally, the shareholders will review and approve the decision made by the Government of Nepal regarding the formation of the new Board of Directors. The shareholders will also consider the continuation of the current Board, which has been authorized to steer the company forward.

The company’s financial statements for the fiscal years from 2069/70 to 2073/74, including the balance sheet, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements, will be presented for approval. Furthermore, the external auditors Subash Paudel and Bijay Singh Parajuli, appointed in consultation with the Office of the Auditor General, will present their findings for the fiscal years 2076/77 to 2078/79, and their appointment along with their remuneration will be subject to shareholder approval.
