Nepal Life Crosses Rs. 13 Billion in First-Year Premiums, Sets New Industry Benchmark
Kathmandu — Nepal Life Insurance has become the first life insurer in Nepal to generate more than Rs. 13 billion in first-year insurance premiums, setting a new benchmark for the country’s life insurance industry.
The milestone comes as the company marks its 25th anniversary, further strengthening its position as Nepal’s leading life insurer. After becoming the first company to surpass Rs. 10 billion in first-year premiums last fiscal year, Nepal Life has raised the bar once again by crossing the Rs. 13 billion mark.
Commenting on the achievement, Chief Executive Officer Praveen Raman Parajuli expressed gratitude to the company’s board of directors for their continued guidance, policyholders for their unwavering trust, insurance agents, employees, shareholders, regulatory authorities, and all stakeholders whose direct and indirect support contributed to the milestone.
The company said the achievement reflects its 25-year commitment to trust, service, and operational excellence while establishing a new benchmark for Nepal’s life insurance industry.
Looking ahead, Nepal Life said it will continue investing in technology-driven and customer-centric services, develop innovative insurance products, strengthen investment management, enhance the capabilities of its employees and insurance agents, and deliver insurance services that meet international standards.
