Himalayan Life Employees Provide Relief Materials Worth NPR 800,000 to Flood and Landslide Victims

Kathmandu — Employees of Himalayan Life Insurance have provided food and clothing worth approximately NPR 800,000 to citizens affected by the recent floods and landslides in Rasuwa district.

The food and clothing were voluntarily collected by employees with the aim of providing immediate relief to families affected by the disaster and were handed over to the Nepal Army in Nuwakot. The relief materials will be transported by the Nepal Army to flood- and landslide-affected areas of Rasuwa.

As the daily lives of affected citizens have been severely disrupted by the floods and landslides, Himalayan Life employees took the initiative to collect relief materials to provide immediate assistance. The employees said the contribution reflected their humanitarian commitment and emphasis on social responsibility during times of disaster.

The relief materials collected by the employees include food supplies and essential clothing. As the materials will be delivered to the affected areas through the Nepal Army, the employees expressed confidence that the assistance would reach families directly affected by the disaster.

Employees of Himalayan Life Insurance have also expressed their commitment to continuing necessary support and cooperation as part of their social responsibility efforts during times of disaster.
