Himalayan Life Distributes Clothes to Raute Community in Dadeldhura

Kathmandu – Himalayan Life Insurance Limited organized a special community outreach program in Parshuram Municipality-04, Jogbudha, Dadeldhura, to support the indigenous Raute community. The company distributed Track Suits and T-shirts to 232 members of 55 families of the nomadic Raute group, who are traditionally recognized as forest-dwelling communities.
The event was conducted under the leadership of Tek Raj Acharya, Deputy Provincial Head of the company. The program saw active participation from local representatives, including Ward Chairperson Bish Ram Singh Bohara and other community members.
Addressing the event, Chairperson Bohara expressed gratitude to Himalayan Life for its continued support of the marginalized Raute community
A letter of appreciation was presented to the company for its philanthropic gesture. Speaking at the event, Deputy Provincial Head Tek Raj Acharya emphasized the company’s commitment to institutional social responsibility. He also encouraged the Raute community to think about their long-term future. He highlighted the importance of sending children to school and adopting modern healthcare and insurance practices.
The event was coordinated by Diwakar Awasthi, Manager of the Jogbudha Sub-Regional Office, while staff members Ramesh Bahadur Bista and Sher Bahadur Bista facilitated the material distribution.
