SuryaJyoti Life Urges Shareholders to Claim Unclaimed Dividends

Kathmandu — SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited has called upon its remaining shareholders to claim the dividends declared in previous fiscal years, which have remained unclaimed for an extended period.

According to the company, despite the dividends being approved and distributed in various financial years, several shareholders have yet to receive or claim their respective amounts. To facilitate this process, the company has made the list of such shareholders publicly available on the website of its share registrar, NIC Asia Capital Limited.

In addition to urging dividend claims, SuryaJyoti Life has also requested its shareholders to complete the necessary updates such as dematerialization of physical share certificates, updating personal details, and renewing their Demat accounts.

As per regulatory provisions, if dividends remain unclaimed for a long time, the amounts must be transferred to the Investor Protection Fund. Therefore, the company has advised shareholders to act promptly to avoid such forfeiture.
