Life Insurance Companies Earn Rs 19.65 Billion Premium in the Month of Shrawan

Kathmandu – In the first month of the current fiscal year 2082/83, 14 life insurance companies in Nepal have earned Rs 19.65 billion in total insurance premiums, according to the Nepal Insurance Authority.

Nepal Life Insurance led the market with the highest collection, posting Rs 6.19 billion in premiums during the review period. National Life Insurance followed with Rs 2.41 billion, while Life Insurance Corporation Nepal secured the third position with Rs 2.39 billion. Himalayan Life earned Rs 2.28 billion, ranking fourth, and SuryaJyoti Life stood fifth with Rs 1.24 billion.

Among other companies, Asian Life Insurance collected Rs 948.6 million, Citizen Life Rs 856.4 million, Sanima Reliance Life Rs 719.5 million, IME Life Rs 670.5 million, Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Rs 616.8 million, Reliable Nepal Life Rs 581.7 million, MetLife Rs 539.9 million, Rastriya Jeevan Beema Company Rs 433.9 million, and Sun Nepal Life Rs 365.2 million.
