Sun Nepal Life Insurance Renews ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification for Information Security Excellence

Kathmandu — Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company has successfully renewed its ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification from Amtivo Limited, UK, accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). The certification reaffirms the company’s adherence to international standards for information security management systems.

The renewal follows a detailed audit conducted last month, which verified that Sun Nepal Life continues to maintain and enhance its information security systems in accordance with global best practices. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard is one of the most recognized frameworks for managing sensitive company and customer information, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

According to the company, the renewal reflects its effective compliance with risk-based life insurance business systems, as well as its commitment to institutional good governance and regulatory standards.

Sun Nepal Life remains the first and only life insurance company in Nepal to achieve and maintain the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification.
