Sanima Reliance Life’s Gross Premium Income Rises 14%, EPS Stands at Rs 9.06
Kathmandu — Sanima Reliance Life Insurance has published its third-quarter financial results for the current fiscal year, reporting growth in premium income and a modest increase in profit.
According to the company’s financial statement, gross written premium increased by 14% year-on-year to Rs 5.49 billion by the end of the third quarter. During the same period last fiscal year, the company had recorded gross premium income of Rs 4.79 billion.
Net earned premium also rose by 14% to Rs 5.31 billion, compared to Rs 4.65 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The company reported a slight increase in profit during the review period. Net profit grew by 0.95% to Rs 340.8 million, up from Rs 337.6 million recorded during the same period last year.
Sanima Reliance Life’s life insurance fund currently stands at Rs 23.29 billion, while its catastrophe reserve fund has reached Rs 181.7 million.
The company’s paid-up capital stands at Rs 5.01 billion.
Earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs 9.06, while net worth per share was recorded at Rs 111.65.
