Beemapost Deputy Editor Rina Khatri Wins NAFIJ Insurance Journalism Award

Kathmandu — Rina Khatri, Deputy Editor of Beemapost.com, has been honored with the NAFIJ Insurance Journalism Award in recognition of her nearly decade-long contribution to insurance journalism.

The award was presented by Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha at a program organized by the Nepal Economic Journalists Association (NAFIJ). Khatri received a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 along with a certificate for her reporting on Nepal’s insurance sector.

The award was handed over in the presence of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Anjan Shrestha, Member of Parliament Lima Adhikari, former Nepal Chamber of Commerce President Rajendra Malla, and NAFIJ President Menuka Karki.

NAFIJ presents the Insurance Journalism Award annually to an outstanding journalist covering Nepal’s insurance industry. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a certificate of recognition.
