Micro Life Insurers Collect More Than NPR 100 Million in Premiums in July

Kathmandu — The three micro life insurance companies operating in Nepal collected a total of NPR 101.865 million in premiums during July, the first month of the current fiscal year 2026/27 (2083/84). During the same period of the previous fiscal year, the companies had collected NPR 77.315 million in premiums. As a result, total premium collection by micro life insurers increased by 31.75 percent in July compared with the same period last year.

Guardian Micro Life Insurance collected the highest amount of premiums during July. The company collected NPR 38.625 million in total premiums during the month, compared with NPR 32.635 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year. Its premium collection increased by 18.35 percent year-on-year.

Similarly, Liberty Micro Life collected NPR 41.463 million in premiums in July. During the same period last fiscal year, the company had collected NPR 26.866 million. Its premium collection increased by 54.33 percent compared with the previous year.

Meanwhile, Crest Micro Life Insurance collected NPR 21.777 million in total premiums during July. The company had collected NPR 17.814 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year. Its premium collection increased by 22.25 percent this year.
