Prabhu Bank Honored with the ‘Bank of the Year 2023’ Award
Kathmandu : Prabhu Bank has been honored with the title of ‘Bank of the Year 2023′. The Financial Times, based in London, UK, gave the award to the bank.
Prabhu Bank’s Board of Directors Chairman Lilaprakash Sitaula and Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Ashok Sherchan accepted the award at a ceremony held in the UK. Chairman, CEO, CFO and other senior managers of more than 350 banks from more than 120 countries were present at the award distribution program.
Financial Times is a daily newspaper published from London. It has been announcing the Bank of the Awards every year. President Sitaula and CEO Sherchan said that Prabhu Bank felt proud to receive the award.
After receiving the award, Chairman Sitaula said that he has succeeded in adding a brick to the success of Nepal’s banking system. He also said that this award has given encouragement to the banking sector and it will further help the bank to provide services and fair returns to the shareholders.
Likewise, CEO Sharechan said that the bank’s directors, employees’ tireless efforts and the support and encouragement of shareholders, customers and well-wishers have succeeded in receiving this award. Upon receiving this award, he also expressed his commitment to make banking services more efficient and customer friendly.
