Staff training at Tikapur by IME Life Insurance

Kathmandu: IME Life Insurance Company Limited has completed the training on prevention of money laundering and prevention of financial investment in terrorist activities for employees working in branch offices under Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Province offices on Sunday, 3rd December, 2023A.D.

In the training many topics were trained and discussed about such as ; the legal structure of money laundering, definition, money laundering prevention policy, importance and goals of AMT/CFT, money laundering events, goals of money laundering, possible money laundering events in Nepalese life insurance sector, identification of records and reporting by various methods, single insurance fee, financial risk assessment, etc.

Likewise detailed information was given on various topics including special attention to specific transactions, risk classification, financial risk assessment stage, company’s role, action and punishment in the training. The training was conducted in the presence of departmental heads of IME Insurance Company’s central office.
