The Total Insurance Fee Income of Two Micro Non-Life Insurance Companies is over 15 Million, Information in Brief

Kathmandu : The Lagu Jeevan Nirjeevan Insurance Company has earned a total of 16.7 million insurance premiums in the first four months of the Current Fiscal Year, 2023 A.D, i.e. till the mid of October.

According to the financial statements issued by the Nepal Insurance Authority, in the first four months, Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited has issued 3 thousand 405 insurance policies and earned 6.1 million Rupees, while Protective Micro Insurance Company Limited has issued 2 thousand 245 insurance policies and earned a total of 10.6 million Rupees.

From the 18th of October till 16th of November alone, Nepal Micro Insurance issued 1 thousand 738 insurance policies and earned a total insurance fee of 3 million 85 thousand Rupees, whereas, Protective Micro Insurance earned 4 million 513 thousand Rupees by issuing 940 insurance policies.

Similarly, from the 18th of October till 16th of November the total insured amount of Nepal Micro Insurance is 122.9 million Rupees, while the total insured amount of Protective Micro Insurance is 324.8 million Rupees. According to the details published by the authority, the total sum assured of both is 447.8 million Rupees.
