Ganesh Adhikari was elected as the Chairman of Insurance Agents Association Nepal Life; A new working committee of 32 members was formed
Kathmandu. : The special session of Nepal Life Insurance Committee of Professional Insurance Agents Association of Nepal, held on January 6, Monday, unanimously elected a new 32-member working committee under the chairmanship of Ganesh Adhikari.
Law Minister Gurung inaugurated the session of the special session convened at the National Auditorium Kathmandu.
Badrinath Dhakal has been elected as the senior vice-chairman of the working committee and the other vice-chairmen are Om Prasad Oli, Kishore Raut Kamkar, Ramchandra Banjade, Ramsharan Pokharel, Resham Singh Thakuri, Juhari Chaulagain and Devi Prasad Jaisi.
Similarly, Tejmani Sharma has been elected as the secretary of the association, Yadunand Bhandari and Somnath Luitel as the joint secretary whereas Geeta Karki Kafle has been elected as the women’s joint secretary. Similarly, Leela Adhikari was elected as co-treasurer whereas Bimala Dhakal Amgai was elected as treasurer. Other elected members are Narendra Kumar Sangraula, Santosh Sharma, Ram Bahadur Oli, Damodar Sapkota, Janaki Bohra Bist, Narendra Prasad Joshi, Raj Kumar Sharma, Kamal Prasad Subedi, Krishna Bahadur Rimal, Shanta Pandey, Saroj Sivakoti, Mohan Sundas, Mahanand Situla, Gobind Prasad Bhattarai, Anita Rai, Jawindra Bhattarai and Tara Dahal Adhikari as the members of committee.
Another 17 working committee members were elected in the election held on 6th of January. Meanwhile, the officers and members of the elected working committee took oath on the program from Kapil Oli, director of Nepal Insurance Authority. Chairman Ganesh Adhikari has promised to move forward with the oath taking and maintaining the interests and professional dignity of insurance agents.
