New bonus rate of IME Life Insurance announced, Maximum bonus up to 80 rupees

Kathmandu. IME Life Insurance Company has published a new bonus rate based on last year’s financial statements. According to the bonus rate approved by the regulator Nepal Insurance Authority, the insured of IME Life will get a maximum bonus of 80 rupees.

Based on the company’s financial statements for the year 2023.24 A.D.), the new bonus rate has been announced. According to the public finance statement announced on, a minimum of 32 rupees to 70 rupees per year and per thousand rupees will be given in group child term insurance policy.

Similarly, in term and whole life insurance policies, the insured will get a bonus of 32 to 80 rupees per thousand per year according to the insurance period.

Minimum 32 rupees to 63 rupees bonus in advance payment and life insurance policy. Prepaid term insurance is priced at bonus rate of Rs.30 to Rs.63. The insured will get a monthly bonus of 30 rupees to 65 rupees for child advance payment.

Similarly, a minimum bonus of 30 rupees to 60 rupees has been fixed in child advance payment term insurance. Also, a bonus of 22 rupees is fixed for all the periods in the annual advance payment insurance policy.
