Kathmandu: A grandfather gifted an insurance policy worth 2 Million rupees on the occasion of his granddaughter’s “Rice Feeding ceremony”.

With the changing times, our society which does not hesitate to spend on expensive gifts and unnecessary feasts on festivals and celebrations has started to look civilized and worried about the future in present context.

The practice of gifting an insurance policy for the future is increasing day-by-day, instead of spending on appearance on festivals and celebrations. As an example of this, a grandfather gifted an insurance policy to his granddaughter as a gift.

Prapunjal Tamang, the daughter of a couple Pushpa Limbu and Pradip Tamang, who are also the resident of Kathmandu, Jagtol, has been gifted a Golden Jeevan Kiran Beema Yojana worth Rs 2 Million by Grandfather Purna Limbu.

In collaboration with Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Company, the grandfather Purna Limbu gave the said insurance policy to his granddaughter’s mother Pushpa Limbu.

The company believes that this type of action will convey a positive message towards insurance in the society. Insurance experts say that giving an insurance policy as a gift is a better option than spending unnecessarily for a momentary indulgence.
