Most of the insurance companies in NEPSE classification are in ‘G’ and ‘Z’, Nepal Insurance is only in group ‘A’.

Kathmandu : Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has published the classification of listed companies. According to public information, there are 31 companies in ‘A’, 35 in ‘B’, 70 in ‘G’ and 135 in ‘Z’ category.
Among the insurance companies, only Nepal Insurance Co. Ltd has been classified as ‘A’. Most of the insurance companies are under ‘G’ and ‘Z’.
Group ‘G’ consists of IME Life, Reliable Nepal Life, Sun Nepal Life and Citizen Life. Other insurance companies are classified in ‘Z’ category.
