Shree Laliguras Multipurpose Cooperative has been declared Problematic By Government
Kathmandu : Sree Laliguras Multipurpose Cooperative has been declared problematic by the Government.
Cooperatives have been declared problematic on 30th of Falgun, 2080 B.S by the Ministerial decision of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation. According to the Ministry, the Cooperative Department had recommended this organization to be declared as problematic. According to the recommendations made by the department, it is reported that this Cooperative has been declared as Problematic.
This declaration has been made as the Cooperative has not returned the saving amount of the saver members due to which the cooperative violated the Cooperative Act, clause 9 ‘Ka’ to ‘Cha’ of Sub- section 910 of Section 104 of the Cooperative Act, 2074 B.S. According to this section if any cooperative goes against the law then they will be declared as Problematic by the Government and also has been sent to the problematic cooperative management committee to manage the assets of the cooperative organization and pay the liabilities.
