November 22nd, 2024

Kathmandu – Crest Micro Life Insurance Limited has introduced the “Samriddhi Agrim Bhuktani Laghu Beema” scheme, aimed at empowering low-income groups, marginalized communities, and residents of underprivileged areas. The scheme aligns with the company’s vision of providing financial security and improving the economic status of Nepal’s underserved populations.

This scheme offers policyholders the unique benefit of receiving a portion of the sum assured at regular five-year intervals throughout the insurance term. This structure allows individuals to meet financial obligations such as educational expenses, marriage costs, cultural activities, and business needs during their lifetime. At the end of the insurance period, the remaining sum assured, along with an additional amount, will be provided, ensuring long-term security for the insured and their families.

Under this scheme, individuals aged between 18 and 50 years can enroll, with the minimum sum assured set at Rs. 50,000 and the maximum at Rs. 5,00,000. The insurance term ranges from 15 to 25 years, with the premium payment frequency designed to suit diverse financial capabilities, including annual, semi-annual, and quarterly options. The scheme also offers multiple advantages, including low premiums, reliable investment opportunities, tax benefits, and support for old-age security.

The policy ensures comprehensive life protection. Even after periodic payouts, the life cover remains equal to the full sum assured. In case of accidental death, beneficiaries receive an additional 100% of the sum assured, while accidental dismemberment entitles the insured to up to 100% of the sum assured. Furthermore, discounts on premiums are available in cases of disability caused by accidents.
