Pawan Khadka Appointed as CEO of IME Life Insurance

Kathmandu – Pawan Khadka has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IME Life Insurance Company, following a decision by the company’s board of directors during a meeting yesterday. Khadka, who previously served as the Deputy CEO of SuryaJyoti Life Insurance and was also the former CEO of Surya Life Insurance Company, will take over the role at IME Life once the regulatory process is completed.

The board’s decision comes after the CEO position at IME Life remained vacant for about three months following the end of Kabi Phuyal’s term. The necessary documentation has been finalized and sent to the Insurance Authority for approval, which is expected within the next day or two. Once approved, Khadka is expected to take the oath and assume office promptly.

Khadka brings with him extensive experience in the life insurance sector, and his appointment is widely anticipated to bring significant progress to IME Life. His leadership is expected to steer the company toward growth and innovation, leveraging his proven expertise in insurance administration.
