Rastriya Jeewan Beema Company Introduces Foreign Employment Insurance
Kathmandu – The Rastriya Jeewan Beema Company Limited, a government-owned entity, has launched a new foreign employment insurance scheme aimed at safeguarding Nepali workers heading abroad for employment.
The initiative enables workers to secure insurance coverage using their passport numbers through the digital payment platform, eSewa. This convenient arrangement ensures that foreign employment insurance can be easily accessed, even by those in remote areas. Additionally, manpower companies facilitating foreign employment can also arrange insurance for workers via eSewa, streamlining the process further.
In a related announcement, the company has urged all policyholders to update their Know Your Customer (KYC) details to ensure uninterrupted services. Insured individuals whose policy periods have expired have been encouraged to visit the company’s head office or the nearest branch to process their claim payments.
