Nepal Insurers’ Association Elects Birendra Baidwar Chhetri as New Chairman

Kathmandu – The Nepal Insurers’ Association has unanimously elected a new leadership team ahead of its general meeting today. The nominations, finalized yesterday, saw prominent figures from the insurance industry taking on key roles.

Siddhartha Premier Insurance CEO Birendra Baidwar Chhetri has been elected as the Chairman of the association, while NLG Insurance CEO Sunil Ballabh Pant will serve as the general secretary. NECO Insurance CEO Ashok Kumar Khadka has been chosen as vice-president, and IGI Prudential Insurance CEO Yugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha has been named treasurer.

Himalayan Everest Insurance CEO Anju Shrestha has been elected as a new member of the association’s working committee. The Oriental Insurance CEO Totan Chakraborty and Prabhu Insurance CEO Sanchit Bajracharya have also been elected as members of the committee.
