Himalayan Everest Insurance Concludes AGM, Approves 8.75% Cash Dividend

Kathmandu – Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited held its 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at Anmol Banquet in Shankhamul, Kathmandu.

During the meeting, the company approved the board of directors’ proposal to distribute an 8.75% cash dividend, including tax, based on the current paid-up capital.

The AGM also discussed and passed the financial statements and the annual report for the last fiscal year. Additionally, the appointment of the auditor and the determination of the auditor’s salary for the current year were finalized.

For the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution, the company had its book closure for one day on February 27. Shareholders listed before the book closure date will only receive the dividend.
