Nepal Micro Insurance Announces Date for Annual General Meeting

Kathmandu — Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited has announced that it will convene its second annual general meeting (AGM) on Jestha 16 (May 30), 2082, at the Bharatpur Garden Resort in Chitwan. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.

According to the company, the AGM will endorse the annual report and financial statements for the previous fiscal year. Key agenda items also include the appointment of an auditor for the current fiscal year and the determination of their remuneration.

In addition, the meeting will elect two representatives from the general shareholders and decide on meeting allowances for the board of directors. Approval of various company-related expenses is also on the agenda.

The company has informed that the book closure will take place on Jestha 8 (May 22). Accordingly, shareholders listed by the end of Jestha 7 (May 21) will be eligible to participate in the upcoming meeting.
