National Life Insurance Announces 15% Dividend from FY 2080/81 Profits

Kathmandu – National Life Insurance Company Limited has announced a 15 percent dividend for its shareholders from the profits of the fiscal year 2080/81.
The decision was made during a meeting of the company’s Board of Directors held on Baisakh 31 (May 14). As per the announcement, the proposed dividend comprises 5 percent bonus shares and 10 percent cash, based on the current paid-up capital.
Additionally, the company has stated that a cash dividend at the rate of 0.789473 percent will be adjusted for tax purposes on both the cash and bonus shares.
The proposed dividend distribution is subject to approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsement at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
