Himalayan Life Insurance Enters 17th Year with Renewed Focus on Growth and Customer Service

Kathmandu — Himalayan Life Insurance Limited has officially entered its 17th year of operation, marking the milestone with a renewed commitment to delivering higher returns to investors and improved services to policyholders.

The company founded on Jestha 22, 2065, (June 4, 2008) has grown steadily over the years, establishing itself as a leading life insurer in Nepal. In celebration of its 17th anniversary, Himalayan Life is organizing various corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs across its nationwide branch offices. At its central office, long-serving employees who have dedicated over a decade to the company are being honored.

Chief Executive Officer Manoj Kumar Lal Karna expressed gratitude to policyholders, investors, employees, and regulatory bodies, stating that the company’s consistent growth is a result of collective trust and cooperation.  He also expressed his determination to grow stronger and stay committed to their policyholders and stakeholders.

Operating through a wide network that spans all seven provinces of Nepal, Himalayan Life Insurance continues to provide services through thousands of active agents. The company has positioned itself as a pioneer in claim settlements and life insurance penetration, especially in remote regions.

Currently, Chairman Shulav Agrawal leads the company’s board, which includes directors Shaurav Dugar, Pramila K.S. Thapa, Sachin Acharya, and Ashish Dhakal. The executive leadership team features Deputy CEO Kapil Kumar Dahal, JR Deputy CEO Madhav Prasad Sharma, Assistant Chief Officer Rajan Prasad Adhikari, CFO Laxman Gyawali, and Company Secretary Ishwar Kumar Sedai.
