Asian Life Insurance Declares 5.3684% Dividend for Shareholders
Kathmandu — Asian Life Insurance Company Limited has announced a dividend of 5.3684 percent for its shareholders for the current fiscal year.
The decision was made during a meeting of the company’s board of directors held on Jestha 25 (Jume 8). According to the announcement, the proposed dividend includes 5.10 percent bonus shares and 0.2684 percent cash dividend, which also covers applicable taxes.
As per the company, the distribution will be based on its current paid-up capital of Rs 3.39 billion.
The dividend proposal is subject to approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and must be endorsed by the company’s upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) before distribution to shareholders.
