Himalayan Life Insurance Offers Late Fee Discount on Expired Policies
Kathmandu — Himalayan Life Insurance Limited has announced a special discount on late fees for expired policies.
The offer applies to insurance policies originally issued by the former Prime Life Insurance, Union Life Insurance, and Gurans Life Insurance—companies that were merged into Himalayan Life. The discount scheme will remain in effect until the end of Jestha (June 14, 2025).
According to the company, a 100 percent waiver on the late fee will be provided for policies that have expired for up to eight years, while a 60 percent discount will be given on policies that have lapsed for more than five years.
