Rastriya Jeevan Beema Company Announces Bonus Rate for FY 2069/70

Kathmandu — Rastriya Jeevan Beema Company Limited has announced the bonus rate for the fiscal year 2069/70. The company has maintained a bonus rate of Rs 55 per thousand sum assured per annum on all types of life insurance policies.

According to the company, the total number of in-force insurance policies from FY 2067/68 to 2069/70 is 162,721. The bonus rate was determined after receiving approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority, which endorsed the company’s actuarial valuation report of financial and liability positions. The approval was granted through a letter dated 17th Magh, 2080 BS.

Furthermore, the company has clarified that future bonus rates may vary based on new actuarial valuations.
