Payment of Insurance Claims by Citizen Life Insurance
Kathmandu : Citizen Life Insurance Company handed over a check of 1 million 610 thousand for payment of death claim. Laxman Shahi, resident of Tilotama-9, Rupandehi, who had taken an insurance policy of 1.5 million rupees from the Bhalbari branch of the company 2 years ago, suddenly died of ageing, after which a total check amount of 1 million 610 thousand rupees was paid to the deceased for payment of the insurance amount, funeral expenses and bonus amount.
The amount has been handed over to his wife Anita Shahi.The claim was paid with the participation of Naresh Sigdel (Bhairahawa regional branch manager of the company), Ravi Kafle (Bhairahawa branch chief), Girija Khanal (Bhairahawa branch chief) and agency managers of Bhairahawa and Bhalbari.
While handing over the check, Naresh Sigdel, Regional Branch Manager of Insurance, said that life insurance is indispensable because the person who lost his/her life prematurely will be able to feel relief in the family even after death with the money received from their own savings.
