MetLife Nepal Launches Policy Revival Campaign with Late Fee Waivers

June 26th, 2025

Kathmandu — MetLife Nepal has introduced its annual policy revival campaign, offering a valuable opportunity for customers to reinstate their lapsed life insurance policies and strengthen their long-term financial security.

As part of the campaign, the company is providing significant waivers on late fees. A 100 percent waiver will be offered on policies lapsed for less than five years, while a 60 percent waiver is applicable to policies lapsed for more than five years. The initiative aims to encourage policyholders to reactivate their coverage and continue their financial planning without the burden of hefty penalties.

To ensure accessibility and convenience, MetLife has simplified the revival process. Policyholders can download the required application form from the company’s official website. Premium payments can be made through popular digital platforms such as e-Sewa, Connect IPS, or the One by MetLife app.

Speaking about the campaign, Nirmal Kaji Shrestha, General Manager of MetLife Nepal stated that the campaign is part of efforts to keep customers protected and help them plan for the future with confidence. He also urged all eligible policyholders to take advantage of this opportunity.
