Sun Nepal Life Calls for Bids on Unallocated Right Shares

Kathmandu – Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company has opened the auction for a total of 224,728 units of unallocated right shares. These shares are being offered to both promoter shareholders and the general public through a competitive bidding process.
Of the total, 80,222 units are reserved for the promoter group, while 144,506 units have been allocated for public investors. The base price has been set at Rs 100 per share.
According to the company, only existing promoter shareholders are eligible to apply for the promoter shares. In contrast, any interested individual can participate in the bidding for the general public shares.
Applicants must apply for at least 1,000 units in the promoter category and 100 units in the public category. A single bidder can apply for the entire remaining portion or for shares in both categories, but only up to a maximum of 10 applications.
The application window will be open from Ashar 23 to Ashar 30 (July 7 to July 14). Application forms can be obtained from Nepal SBI Merchant Banking’s Thamel office, Sun Nepal Life’s Putalisadak office, and its branch offices in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Pokhara, Butwal, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, and Dhangadhi.
