Suryajyoti Life Unveils Discount Scheme to Revive Lapsed Insurance Policies

Kathmandu — Suryajyoti Life Insurance has announced a special discount offer aimed at encouraging policyholders to revive their lapsed insurance policies. The scheme, which came into effect from 15th Ashar (June 29) 2082, will remain valid until 28th Ashar (July 12).

Under this offer, the company is providing up to a 50 percent discount on the late fee for renewing lapsed policies that have remained inactive for up to five years. For policies lapsed for more than five years, a discount of up to 35 percent on the late fee will be offered.

The company has stated that the interest charged during the renewal process may also be discounted, depending on certain conditions. However, it clarified that this benefit can be used only once during the entire insurance period.

Suryajyoti Life also made it clear that the scheme does not apply to insurance policies that mature on or before 15th Ashar (June 29) 2083.
