The Insurance Authority Decides to Open Child Insurance Policy Until the Mid of November

Kathmandu :The regulatory body Nepal Insurance Authority has decided to open the issue of child insurance policy which is currently closed. This policy will be opened till the mid of November, 2023 A.D only. According to the instructions sent by the Deputy Director of the Authority Ram Koju to all the life insurance companies, the child insurance policy, which was closed from last September 30, has been opened so that it can be issued till the mid of November.

The regulatory body Insurance Authority has said that it will not be able to issue child insurance policy from 17th of November. The regulatory body had decided to ban the child insurance policy due to the distortions in the child insurance policy and various problems within it.

But for now i.e. from 30th of October until 16th of November,2023 A.D this Child insurance policy, has been opened and this policy can be issued till the mid of November only. From 17th of November it will be again closed with further notice.
