Critical Illness and Death Claim Payment provided by Citizen Life in a same day

Kathmandu: Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited has paid insurance claims for fatal disease and death on the same day.  The Bijuwar branch of the company organized a program and handed over Rs.957 thousand for terminal illness and Rs.1.4 million for death claim payment to the insured.

The company has mentioned that they have paid the death claim to Tulsa Kunwar, a resident of Pyuthan Municipality-2 Sadekhola, a breast cancer sufferer, and to the family of a deceased person from Jhimruk Rural Municipality-2 Badikot.

Dinesh Karki, head of Bijuwar branch, informed that the company handed over the amount in the presence of Mohon Singh Bista, Ward President of Pyuthan Municipality-2, Ward President of ward no-4 Resham Karki, Regional Branch Manager Laxman Marasini and other leaders.

Insured Tulsa Kunwar expressed her gratitude to Citizen Life saying that she received a lot of financial support and encouragement in the treatment with the amount received from Citizen Life Insurance Company without any hassle. In addition, she also advised to get insurance at as soon as possible to others as it will help them also in need.

Speaking at the event, President Bista said that life insurance is indispensable for the protection of financial risks, so one should insure according to one’s ability. Chairman Bista also said that they will also spread public awareness about insurance to all the residents of ward no-2.

Similarly, the Ward President of ward no-4, Resham Karki also said that he knew that the economic status is also related to insurance and he had also done his own insurance but from now on, all the low earning people can also have their insurance as insurance can be done with little amount of money.

Regional Branch Manager Laxman Marasini, Bijuwar Branch Manager Dinesh Karki, Citizen Star, Agency Manager and other agencies were present in the program.
