Savers of Employees’ Provident Fund will be able to get health services at KMC from February 1

Kathmandu : Savers belonging to Employees’ Provident Fund will be able to get health services at Kathmandu Medical College. The savings fund has also included Kathmandu Medical College to treat common and fatal diseases according to social security facilities. The fund has published a notice and selected various hospitals to be implemented from February 1st. Among the selected hospitals, Kathmandu Medical College, which recently introduced state-of-the-art equipment and health services in the health sector, was also included. General Manager of KMC Narayan Dahal said that savers affiliated to Employees’ Provident Fund can easily get health services at KMC. Any health service available in KMC can be availed by taking the documents as specified by the fund.

Since 2076, the fund has prepared a list of hospitals that will provide treatment facilities to the savers who have been admitted to the hospital and treated with Rs. In the past, the fund provided health treatment facilities only to savers, but it has also included husbands and wives with effect from February 1st.

According to the list among the hospitals receiving services under the fund’s health treatment plan. There are 60 hospitals in Bagmati province along with KMC, 16 hospitals including Nobel Medical College in Koshi province. 9 hospitals including National Medical College in Madhesh province 15 hospitals including Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences in Gandaki province, Rapti Institute of Health Sciences in Lumbini province. Including 8 in Karnali Province, there are Karnali Institute of Health Sciences and Provincial Hospital Surkhet, 3 in Seti Provincial Hospital in Sudurpaschim Province.
