Parents from Baglung gifted an insurance policy on their daughter’s wedding

Kathmandu: Now-a-days, our society is changing the concept of providing various luxurious and expensive items as a present or gift in the wedding ceremonies instead they have started to gift the lifelong helpful things for the newly married couples. People have become responsible and practical in this modern time. The practice of gifting an insurance policy for the future is increasing by avoiding unnecessary feasts and wasteful spending on various festivals and celebrations. An example of this is a parents from Baglung.

On the occasion of the daughter’s wedding, Amar Bahadur Chhetri (OM) of Dhorpatan Municipality-3, Seera and his wife Sunmaya Chhetri have given Citizen Subharambha Beema Yojana as a gift to their daughter.

Chhetri said that the insurance policy was handed over to daughter Sarina and son-in-law Prakash at the wedding hall on 30th of January, 2024 A.D with the aim of making the future brighter and developing the habit of saving.

Chhetri, who has also been an agency manager in Citizen Life Insurance for the past 6 years, said that keeping in mind that insurance will develop the habit of saving and the risks that may occur in the future, they have given an insurance policy as a gift by reducing other luxury goods.

Dhavala Giri from the insurance, Area Regional Manager-Dipendra Lamsal, Burtibang Branch Manager -Chabilal Pandey along with agency managers were also present in the marriage as well as insurance policy handover program was also done during the ceremony.

Relatives and members of the public present at the wedding ceremony praised the new work and said that they are also willing to provide life insurance and will implement this work soon.
