Nepal Life Insurance Book Closure for Dividend Today

Kathmandu – Today marks the last day to secure the dividend of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited, as the company will close its books on January 23 (Magh 10) for its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and dividend distribution.

Shareholders who trade on NEPSE by today will be eligible to participate in the AGM and receive the proposed dividend. The company has recommended a 10% bonus share and an 11.05% cash dividend (including tax) on its current paid-up capital

The AGM is scheduled for Feburary 10 (Magh 28) at Hotel Bishwa, Birgunj, Parsa, starting at 9 AM. Key agendas include approving the proposed dividend, increasing paid-up capital post-bonus share distribution, passing the annual financial statements, and finalizing auditor appointments and remuneration.

Additionally, the meeting will elect three directors from Group B shareholders and authorize the board to amend the company’s memorandum and articles of association as necessary.
