Citizen Life Honors Top Performers at Leaders Night 2026

Kathmandu — Citizen Life Insurance hosted its annual Citizen Leaders Night 2026 on August 1, 2026, at the Royal Tulip Hotel in Gwarko, Kathmandu, bringing together more than 1,000 insurance agents and employees from across the country.

The event brought together top-performing agents from all 77 districts, including the three districts of Kathmandu Valley, for training, refresher sessions and an awards ceremony.

Citizen Life Chairman Pradip Jung Pandey, Director Mahesh Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer Poshak Raj Paudel and Chief Marketing Officer Bhushan Rimal attended the event.

The event focused on the company’s future strategy, opportunities in the insurance business, leadership development and ways to sustain strong performance. Pandey urged employees and agents to work together to make Citizen Life a stronger, more sustainable and results-oriented institution.

The event also marked the launch of the next version of the company’s i-Solution software. Pandey, board members and the management team jointly unveiled the system as part of the company’s digital transformation initiative.

According to the company, the upgraded system is designed to make service delivery more efficient, faster, secure and customer-friendly. A humanoid robot and a robotic dog were also showcased at the event, adding a technology-focused element to the program. The humanoid robot delivered an informative and humorous presentation for participants.

The event also featured comedian Sundar Khanal and Citizen Life brand ambassadors Hari Bansha Acharya and Madan Krishna Shrestha.

Citizen Life honored 780 Citizen leaders, agency managers, agents and branches for outstanding performance in various categories.

Bhesh Raj Bhattarai was named the Top Star Agency Manager based on premium collection. The Butwal branch was recognized as the country’s top-performing branch for first-year premium collection.

Nitesh Shrestha was named the top-performing Rishtas leader based on first-year premium collection, while Geeta Paudel secured the top position among agents for the highest number of policies issued.

Dil Bahadur Dhami received the award for the highest number of agent recruitments.
