ICAN & Tigg Sign Deal to Give Nepal’s Accountants Free Cloud Software
Kathmandu – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) and BIC Technology Private Limited, developer of the cloud accounting platform Tigg, signed a Memorandum of Understanding today to promote technology adoption in the accounting profession.
Under the deal, Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor firms registered with ICAN and with renewed memberships will receive lifetime access to Tigg’s Basic Version at no cost, subject to verification against ICAN’s records. ICAN students will get free access to the Education Version for non-commercial, educational use.
Tigg will provide onboarding assistance, training materials, product guidance and customer support, while ICAN will verify beneficiaries and promote the initiative through its official channels. The two will also run joint programs on digital skills and innovation for professionals and students.
The partners said the collaboration aims to build a digitally capable and future-ready accounting profession in Nepal.
