Life Microinsurance Premiums Rise 25.92% to NPR 197 Million in Two Months

Kathmandu — Nepal’s life microinsurance companies collected NPR 197 million in premiums during the first two months of fiscal year 2026/27 (2083/84 BS), up 25.92% from NPR 156.4 million in the same period of 2025/26 (2082/83 BS), according to data from the Nepal Insurance Authority. The figures cover mid-July to mid-September 2026 (Bhadra 2083).

Guardian Micro Life recorded the highest collection with NPR 77.6 million, followed by Liberty Micro Life with NPR 67.8 million and Crest Micro Life with NPR 51.5 million.
