Who Are the Top Agents Driving Nepal Life’s Rs 10 Billion Record Business?

Kathmandu – Nepal Life Insurance Company has set a new benchmark in the fiscal year 2081/82 by achieving an all-time high in new business worth Rs 10 billion — the highest since its establishment over two decades ago. The historic feat is credited to the relentless efforts of its dedicated agents, among whom three names have emerged as the most outstanding performers.

Topping the list is Madan Bhatta of Dhangadhi, who has secured the prestigious title of Nepal Life’s best agent for the fourth consecutive year. Bhatta brought in an impressive Rs 50.9 million in new business under his code, selling 50 life insurance policies. Widely regarded as a disciplined and experienced professional in the insurance sector, Bhatta’s success reflects his strategic approach and tireless commitment. Apart from his insurance endeavors, Bhatta also runs a hotel business in Dhangadhi, investing crores of rupees and further contributing to the local economy.

Following closely is Jung Bahadur Rajbanshi from Birtamod, Jhapa, who claimed the second position among thousands of agents nationwide. Rajbanshi recorded a business volume of Rs 35.53 million through the sale of 31 insurance policies this year. Known for his energetic field presence and persuasive communication, Rajbanshi believes that insurance should be considered a priority for every individual.

In third place stands Min Bahadur Kuwar, also affiliated with Nepal Life’s Dhangadhi branch, who secured Rs 32.95 million in business by selling 33 insurance policies. Kuwar attributes his success to understanding customer needs and delivering policies tailored to their expectations. He emphasized that trust, transparency, and timely service have played key roles in building long-term relationships with clients.
